The Berkeley City Club Hotel is a historic landmark opened in 1930 and designed by renowned female architect Julia Morgan. The building features preserved 1920s architectural details, including serene courtyards and a koi pond. Guest rooms offer views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, the UC Berkeley campus, or the Berkeley Hills.

Indoor Pool & Wellness

The hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool designed by Julia Morgan, with high ceilings and big windows. A fitness center offers wellness programs, yoga classes, and aerobics. The pool is set up in lanes for lap swimming; reservations are required except on weekends.

On-Site Dining

Julia's Restaurant at the Berkeley City Club offers farm-to-table French cuisine for lunch Thursday through Saturday and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. A complimentary continental breakfast with fresh fruit, pastries, quiche, and ham is served daily. The bar and lounge provides a space for evening drinks and appetizers until 8:00 pm.
